Hello! My name is Julie Brown and I am a co-opted Governor here at St Andrew’s. I live near the school, know the Bishop Auckland area well and enjoy being part of the local community. I am a primary school teacher and have worked for the LA since 1999. As a teacher, I am passionately committed to giving children the best possible start in life and strive to do this by working in partnership with children, parents, school staff, other professionals and members of the community. I have a particular interest in Literacy, Art, ICT and Special Educational Needs. St Andrew’s is a wonderful school and I feel my experience, commitment and enthusiasm can contribute to its continued success. I look forward to visiting the school again soon.
